Originally released in February 1994, "The Mask of Memory" was Kevin Keller's debut recording, first heard by many listeners on NPR's "Music from the Hearts of Space".
In celebration of 20 years, the album has been remastered with the addition of a previously unreleased track, "Midnight in the Park", which was recorded live in 1986. The Platinum Edition also includes an 8-page digital booklet.
